MADESMS is an application developed for IMASUL (the Environment Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul) to monitor wildfires across the state's territory. The system's main goal was to integrate spatial data, satellite images, and environmental information, serving as a powerful analysis tool within IMASUL's offices.

The design was based on IMASUL's main colors, blue and green. To keep consistency across the application, the Phosphor icon library was chosen as the source of its visual elements.

The MADESMS system shows a satellite view of a rural area with a small light blue polygon highlighted in the center. There is a pop-up window titled 'Alerta de Desmatamentos' (Deforestation Alert) showing specific data points for that polygon, including CAR Number, Alert ID, Date, Area, Municipality, and Biome. A sidebar titled 'Editar Polígono' (Edit Polygon) is also open on the right.

After comparing satellite images of rural properties, aiming to find signs of illegal deforestation, IMASUL agents can generate a report with all information about the area in order to open an investigation against the property owners.

A notebook screen displays the Gallery section of MADESMS. The screen is split in two by a swipe tool in the middle, with each side showing a different satellite image of the same area. A separate image panel allows the user to change the picture displayed.
