Crafting a seamless mobile and desktop experience for a software aimed at fighting environmental crimes through shared information and responsibilities

Manduri is an application developed for agents of IBAMA, the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources. Its main goal is to register and keep track of areas with environmental damages and its causes based on two different forms and contexts: one is filled on-site and the other is filled based on drone-captured media. Since both forms are about the same area but can be filled by different people, it was essencial to organize cross-functional capabilities for both mobile and desktop access, while also defining what each one of these versions would be allowed to do.
The app was organized for three user roles: Team Member, Coordinator and Administrator. The two types of forms (mobile and desktop) could have three possible status: drafts, validated and finished. The main challenge was defining what each of these users could do, how the forms should flow across.

CHALLENGE
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur adipiscing elit Ut et.
To keep consistency across apps, the software followed an already-stablished design system applied on other IBAMA platforms, with both layout and logo following standards like iconography, typography and color scheme.

BRAND DESIGN
The brand identity was based on the Manduri bee, a brazilian native bee species. This type of insect has a strong collective sense, with a shared decision-making process within its social structure. They also hold an important role in polinization and forest maintance..
